Purpose: Co department is looking to fill a vacancy for a mine systems technician.

This will be a position also required to work weekends and holidays when needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• MSHA Safety Training up to date
• 2 years experience in work underground
• Working knowledge of MSHA requirements of communication systems and atmospheric monitoring
• Installing and troubleshooting underground communications systems including fiber, CO/Tracking, Leaky Feeder, and Page Phone systems
• Basic computer skills
• Heavy equipment operation
• Work weekends
• Work any shift
• Safety conscious
• Self motivated
• Good communication skills & work well with others
• Work includes: Using all skills listed above, lifting 50 lbs regularly, up to 100 lbs occasionally, constant kneeling, bending, squatting, twisting, walking on uneven surfaces, standing, reaching, pulling, climbing, and working in cramped quarters.
