Prep Plant Electrician

Prep Plant Electrician/PLC experience

There is currently an opening for a plant electrician with PLC experience at the Warrior Coal Preparation Plant. Individuals interested in this position must meet the qualifications listed below.

Skills - Required

 Proficient in the use of cutting torch and welder

 Proficient in the use of hand tools

 General knowledge of conveyor belt operation and maintenance

 Fiber communication, Allen Bradley Components, VFD Drives

 High Voltage and switch gear

Skills – Preferred (must be able and willing to learn)

 Dozer operation and maintenance

 Prep Plant operation and maintenance

 Train Loadout operation and maintenance

Physical Abilities:

 Ability to lift in excess of fifty pounds

 Ability to climb and work off ladders, catwalks, and man-lifts

 Ability to work in confined areas

 Ability to climb stairways

Work Schedule Requirements:

 Willing to work overtime, including weekends and holidays when necessary

Job Qualifications:

 Proven history of safe work practices

 PLC experience – 2 years of experience required.

 Kentucky Surface Miner Certification (or willing to attain)

 Kentucky MET Certification (preferred)

 Kentucky Mine Electrical Card
